Sunset Parent Advocates had a great kickoff on Friday at Sealevel where we chatted over pizza and wine about different initiatives we’d like to move forward.

Check out our local farmers market at 37th and Ortega while building community. We’ll bring the toys and picnic blankets, families can bring their own lunches or peruse the local lunch vendors.

Ocean Beach Cleanup & Bubble Party

Help us make our favorite oceanfront park even more beautiful! Bring your little ones, some friends and enjoy the fresh air. Pickers, trash bags, gloves and vests are provided. We’ll follow up the beach cleanup with a chalk and bubble party on Sunset Dunes!

Crafts & Coffee: “Hearts for the Sunset”

We’ll be creating our own artwork for installation across partnering businesses, community spaces, and favorite places in our neighborhood. Paint and personalize a wooden heart with us to show love for our community - all supplies provided. The end result will be a fun “find your heart” scavenger hunt to beautify our parks and blocks.
